Hello Again, We are loving our puppy and can't believe how much he has grown. We just wanted to say thanks for everything. We can't imagine a better behaved puppy. We were also wondering if you still have any puppies left from his litter. We were talking with a friend of the family and he is very interested in getting a German Shepard puppy. So before we get him excited we just wanted to know if you had any left. So just let us know. Once again thanks for everything. Marc and Tera
HI KATHY IT HAS BEEN AWHILE.... APACHE IS AROUND 10-12 LBS NOW AND SHE IS DOING GREAT... THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE THESE OF HER....
Hannah is dong great at puppy class. She learns easily and we are hoping that she will grow out of submissive urination and jumping. They say she will as she is so smart. Regards, Lisa
I am very pleased with my puppy Zak. He has brought nothing but joy to our home since we adopted him from you. His coloring and temperament are unbelievable. He's very playful, funny, and willing to learn new things all the time. He's very loyal to me and has caught on to potty training very well, and he's only 10 weeks old! He's very affectionate with the children and adults alike. He gets along very well with the other dogs and animals on our farm (although I keep him away from the horses because he's just a baby yet). He plays with the kitties and tries to catch the ducks. He's also learning to track already, by instinct I think. He doesn't stray far when we're walking without a leash and seems to know to stay to my right when walking. He's very smart and I'm so pleased. He already knows to sit and what "no" means. You don't know how many breeders take advantage of people's innocence when it comes to buying an animal over the Internet or long distances. Thank you for being so kind, honest, and for staying in touch with me. I have enjoyed our chats and look forward to buying another puppy soon! Sincerely, Nichole L. Bowen

Hello! Sorry we haven't written in a while. Vedder is doing fantastic. He received his first hair cut yesterday and apparently did great. He is growing very quickly and is about 30 pounds. He is very intelligent also. He picks up on commands very quickly. All of our family members love him and think he is a wonderful puppy. We are really having the time of our lives with him! We will send you updated pictures soon. Hope all is well with you and the rest of the puppies! Thanks again. Katie, Jon, and Vedder
To all future German Shepard pup owners, September 5, 2004 We have recently purchase our beautiful purebred German Shepard pup from Allan and Kathy Greiner. We found them through a search on line, and they have been such a pleasure to deal with. Any questions or concerns that we had were answered in a quick and timely manner. Our pup, Athena was shipped from Allen and Kathy Greiner to us at Logan Airport in Boston Massachusetts, so she had quite a distance to travel to us. It didn’t take Athena long to get over the stress her journey may have caused. She has been in our home for just 12 days now, and she is just a bundle of joy. She runs around our home with our 9 year old Shepard like she has always lived here, and is a well adjusted happy puppy. What we really liked was the concern they both showed for their puppy’s safe arrival and the loving homes they will go to. They truly love and care what happens with their puppies. Because of the great experience we have had with Allan & Kathy, we would/will definitely purchase from them again. I have saved their e-mail address, and still correspond with Kathy to give her updates, pictures, and puppy cams on Athena. Sincerely yours, Larry & Denise Gray Springfield, MA

Dear Allan and Kathy, My name is Liz. My boyfriend, Matthew, recently purchased a female German Shepherd puppy to surprise me with. I wanted to say thank you and she is quite the doll, a bit of a princess, but that's what he was going for! She's doing very well and she is beautiful. We have named her Della. I just wanted to thank you for working so closely with Matthew and thank you for our baby! Sincerely, Liz |
He's been doing really well, as far as the training goes. I usually try to at least work with him and Phoebe (my older shepherd) about an hour to 2 hours everyday with little commands here and there. He did very good as far as the house training. He's only had a couple of accidents since I've brought him here. Phoebe has helped out a lot, since he tries to copy everything she does. I gave him a little more freedom at nights by letting him sleep outside of the kennel. I put his bed right next to the head of my bed, and so far so good. No mishaps. He wakes up around 5 in the morning to give me a couple of licks to let me know that he's ready to go outside. He's very smart to only be little bit over 4 months. I'm pretty amazed. He's learns very quickly. I've been walking the both of them a lot together to the parks and so forth. And he does really well with staying to my side as we walk, better than Phoebe even. All of my neighbors are really shocked of how he stays inside the front yard (without a fence), and not attempt to go across the street and so on. I've worked really hard to teach him the boundaries of the yard. We like to go out front in the evenings to sit down, and watch the sun go down or barbeque. Yeah, he's an amazing dog. I'm really happy with him. Albert
| Dear Allan and Kathy, Here is a picture of Ruby. She is growing rather quickly and she is a great pup. We have been going to training classes, and she is very smart and she is doing very well. Ruby is a very social pup and really enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes (especially the big ones). When she arrived at the airport she wagged her tail, licked my hand an face,so I don't think the plane ride even bothered her as I thought. When I brought her home she wagged her tail and kissed everyone that would hold her as though she knew them. Thank-you so much for taking such good care of her, and keeping me posted on here developement. Ruby is really a jewel of a dog, and you both have done so much with her. She is one great pup! | Kathy, oh great! we are happy to help someone out. We seriously wouldn't have life any other way. We had friends over the other night and they brought their two dogs. Petey was just thrilled with the idea of having playmates - except the other dogs weren't exactly thrilled with Petey. He is, after all, twice their size and he is only 4 months old! Petey just didn't know what to make of the situation. Someone that didn't want to play with him - are you serious?! We have taken great pains to socialize him with other dogs and apparently these other dog parents haven't. It was a shame really. But we got to see just how a great dog Petey really is. He just took their growling and barking in stride - even AFTER we had to lock him out of his own kitchen! He just laid down on the other side of the gate and chewed his toy. It was like he knew these dogs weren't staying and that because they weren't being "nice dogs" he had to stay away form them for a while. Boy did he get A LOT of "good boy's" and hugs and kisses after they left. (and we weren't sorry to see those other dogs go, either). He really is a great dog. Smart as a whip too. Scary smart. Like he studies things and just remembers how it works for later. And he talks to us - AND talks back to us. Very vocal - definitely voices his discontent. But he offers plenty of laughs and quiet moments to make you remember why you got him in the first place. I won't tell you he is an angel, but he isn't the worst of the bunch either. :) I have been slacking on taking new pics of him - but boy has he gotten tall! More and more like Cocoa evey day. Tall and lanky like his dad and his "browning" has stopped (for now). I was worried that he would turn all tan like his mom. But hope he is still black with brown on the top of his head and side of his face. The beard under his chin is a light tan and some fur on the bottom of his feet - between his pads - but that's it. He grew into his fuzz and his ears are staying put (as in down) - for now. I still hope they don't stand up. I will send new pics soon. And thanks for referring those people to us. I hope they pick a dog. They won't be sorry. Warmly, Amy |
Just thought you might like to see how the offspring of Samson & Medusa is doing. Born 4/22/06. Last "weigh in" was 74 1/2 Lbs., a month ago! He has been through obedience training and even agility courses, and seems very eager to learn every new command we teach him. We couldn't have asked for a GSD with any better temperament. Thank you very much! Bill & Roberta
Hi Kathy, I'm glad you got to see her updated pictures. You sure can put them on your website. We absolutely love how protective she is of the kids. That's exactly what we wanted. She is just so perfect!! You can tell she is so happy. She has bonded very nicely with our older lab. They are inseparable. They always have to be by each other and sleep by each other, it is so cute. I think it's more fun when they get older. It's also nicer because then they are potty trained and are done with the chewing faze. Thank you again for helping us find our beautiful Athena. Shawn
Kathy and Allen-- Sorry it has taken me so long to let you know how much we are in love with Boris!!! You were right, he is a very smart dog. He has been absolutely perfect. Even my mother and sister who are not dog lovers have to admit they like him!!!! I am trying to send a photo of him with our kids. They made a snowman and snow dog together! Thank you so much for everything we could not be happier. Hope the picture comes through! Mary
